Q. What sort of style do you work in?
A. Our style can best be described as “Contemporary Candid”.

Q. What is your photography background?
A. We bring nearly 20 years of experience in photography and fine arts to each wedding we shoot. For the last ten years we have focused exclusively on wedding, portrait, studio and event photography.

Q. Do you shoot portraits or headshots?
A. Yes we do!

Q. How many photos will you shoot at my wedding?
A. This is a difficult question to answer because each wedding is different. Whether we’re shooting for 2 hours or 10, we will provide you with full and complete coverage of your wedding. The number of finished photographs we deliver tends to be on average from 300-500.

Q. I’ve heard stories of photographers whose camera breaks during a wedding? Do you bring backup equipment with you?
A. Equipment failure is a possibility every working professional must be prepared for. We will bring backups of all our equipment, including camera bodies, lenses, flashes, batteries and so on.

Q. What sort of equipment do you use?
A. We use Canon professional camera equipment.

Q. Can you shoot film for my wedding?
A. No. We are a 100% digital studio.

Q. How long will it take for me to get my photos?
A. Photos will be finished and available for viewing within 2 weeks.

Q. It seems like everyone is offering digital photography now. I even have a digital camera myself that takes nice pictures so what will you do that really sets your digital photos apart from what the average person shoots?
A. There’s a huge difference between a professional photographer who happens to work digitally and most people who have digital cameras. We don’t just unload our memory cards and dump it all onto a cd. Each photo is evaluated and adjustments to color, contrast, sharpness and composition are applied as necessary. Working this way is more time consuming than simply unloading memory cards but provides our clients with superior images. In addition, we work on regularly color calibrated and profiled professional monitors to ensure that the color in our photos is always accurate.

Q. I like that you make photos available for viewing online. How exactly does that work?
A. Once we’ve finished our post processing we’ll upload the finished photos to an online gallery. You’re free to provide the URL to anyone you choose. This is particularly convenient for friends and family who couldn’t attend your wedding, and makes print selection much easier than sorting through a box of loose prints. As an added convenience, on the day of your wedding we can place small cards next to the guestbook with the URL where your photos will be. Many couples appreciate this because it’s one less thing to worry about after returning from the honeymoon.
