Mona and Derek had an intimate ceremony at the Embassy Suites in downtown Portland, with a reception that was refreshingly far from the usual thing. The dj was spinning vinyl, and there wasn’t a single standard on the playlist. About mid-way through the reception the dancing and music was put on pause for a traditional Sudanese ceremony. Super different, super cool!
