Denee + Jesse

Morgan + Kevin

One quirky thing about being a photographer is the whole “favorite photo” thing. When you shoot something you’re really happy with, the kind of happy that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside every time you look at it, you proclaim loudly about how it’s “OMG my fave photo EVER!!!”. Until the next time you shoot something you’re really happy with, at which point the “OMG!!!” thing starts all over again.

Anyway, I hooked up with Morgan and Kevin on Friday afternoon at the LDS Temple for some happy snaps around the temple following their ceremony. After that we headed just south of the middle of nowhere for a reception at the family ranch. To say they’re a cute couple would be an understatement.

Oh yeah, OMG my fave photos EVER!!!

Katey + Peter

Some happy snaps from Katey and Peter’s wedding in Cannon Beach. The ceremony was at the super quaint and cool St. Peter the Fisherman church, and the reception was just down the road at The Surfsand Resort.

Rebecca + Phil

Wow what a crazy summer. I’ve been so caught up with shooting, some weekends two or even three gigs in a row, that I’ve really let the blog slide. Kinda defeats the purpose when you don’t keep up with it, eh?

Anyway now that things have settled down a little we’ll jump back a few months to Rebecca and Phil’s wedding at The Viewpoint Inn.

Christa + Mikal

A couple Sundays ago I was fortunate enough to be part of a super amazing wedding. Christa & Mikal had their wedding at the World Trade Center downtown. The ceremony was down in the courtyard, where we had the best light ever, and the reception was upstairs on the skybridge level, which IMNSHO is one of the coolest places to shoot in Portland. In between the ceremony and reception we snuck out for some photos, and I’ve gotta say they’re some of my mostest favoritest to date.

Kel + Jeremy

My wonderful, incredible, beautiful friends got hitched at Kells over the weekend and I was lucky enough to be their photographer.

Kel was off somewhere getting fancy so it was just me and the boys for a while. Yeah, it takes more than one hand to do up those cuffs.

During the ceremony each guest was invited to say a word or two that they felt described Kel and Jeremy. It wasn’t something I’d seen before but it was very, very cool.

Dinner was enthusiastically received by the bride and groom.

Followed by a toast with those amazing Guinness cakes…

some dancing…

some singing…

even more singing…

and we wrapped things up with yet more gorgeous pictures.

This was the very last photo I took before I called it a night. Seemed like a pretty cool way to tie up an awesome set of images.

Jeremy and Kel, I don’t have the words to tell you how great it is to see you both so happy. Hopefully the pictures will do the talking for me. I hope you guys are having an amazing time in Ireland and we’re on for dinner after you get back!

Jesika + Paul

What do you get when you combine two awesome people, tons of happy guests, Oregon wine country and a beautiful spring day? Among other things you get really awesome photos!

Jesika & Paul tied the knot at Zenith Vineyard outside Salem last weekend. The phenomenal catering and flowers were courtesy of Vibrant Table.
